Most of these shots are taken in the "discard" pile at a wholesale stone yard/fabricator in Central, Ohio. As they say; "one man's junk is another man's treasure". Lots of interesting stuff, great colors, great potential in use as art in the garden.

Right outside Loudonville, Ohio on state rt. 97 sits this shrine to fallen soldiers from the great state of Ohio.

Beautiful sandstone work from the late 1940's. The work at the front door and the windows is particularly awesome.

Ask the guy working at corner about Locust post /beams(for arbors/pergolas) and he was "non-helpful" to say the least. Too bad I think there's a good market out there for "character" pergola/overhead structures.
